My name is Liz Pawley and I am a professional artist from the seaside town of Praa Sands in Cornwall. I specialise in Pet Portraits working mainly with graphite pencil. There is nothing I like more than the bond we have with our beloved animals, and it always shows in every commission I complete. A portrait is a wonderful way to capture more than a likeness but turn a photo into a unique work of art to be treasured for a lifetime.

• All commission drawings are made to order, in graphite pencil. The attention to detail is amazing and it takes me around 1 to 2 weeks to complete. There maybe a waiting list at a busy time of the year. There is no back ground images it will be left plain or lightly shaded, it is all about focusing your eye on just your subject.  

• To ensure a realistic picture that captures the character of the subject a high quality image is required, preferably taken using a high quality camera, in order for the commission to have attention to detail and a realistic portrait    

• You can send me more than one photo if you wish, we can talk through the photos so we can find the photo which would be perfect for your the commission

• Sizes of the portrait is either A5, A4 or A3, if you are wanting a custom sizing this is available on request. 

• A deposit of 25% is required before starting the commission. Once your deposit has been paid I will contact you again with regards your commission to make sure you are completely happy with your purchase and you know exactly what your commission will look like.

• I will communicate during the process by sending picture updates of the commission to make sure you are completely happy on how the commission is going, customer satisfaction is so important. Once finished I will send you a final photo of the commission

• The Commission will be protected with a sealant  to stop the pencil from smudging or fading from UV rays or sunlight.

• Along with the commission you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by myself Liz Pawley.

• When the final payment has been made your commission will posted to you in a robust tube. Postage and packaging within the UK is special delivery at extra cost.  International shipping will be charged at extra cost.

If you are wanting more than one subject then please get in touch so I can provide you with a price. I would recommend if you are having more than 1 subject A3 would be more suitable.

Please take a look at my artwork for sale.  All are drawn in Graphite Pencil on a smooth heavy weight pad.  They are all one of a kind original portraits.  There are no print, so they are a Limited Edition.

They come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Liz Pawley.
